The DVD will include live performances, backstage footage, interviews, photos, production videos, and a documentary on the group covering everything from the bands humble beginnings to the their massive success as one of today’s leading metal acts.

As I Lay Dying will be playing songs off the album ‘Frail Words Collapse’ at the show on November 17th in San Marcos, another show on Nov-19 in the So Cal area that will be announced sometime in the next week on the band’s site, and their regular live set at The Grove on November 21st. The Grove show in Anaheim, CA on Friday November 21st will include support from Bring Me the Horizon, Terror, and Born of Osiris.

Tickets for the live DVD shoot at The Grove on November 21st are $22.50 in advance and $25 day of show. So Cal fans can also tune into Indie 103, KCAL, and KCXX’s metal shows as each is giving away tickets for the 11/21 show at The Grove.

Here’s what As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has to say about the upcoming DVD shoots: “We couldn’t be more excited about this short stretch of shows we have planned in the Southern California area. Playing shows all across Southern California is the perfect framework for our upcoming DVD. We are all proud San Diegans and even more proud of the diehard fans we have extending up the California coast. Each show on this mini tour will be distinctly different so that we capture every side of what As I Lay Dying is all about as well as what we’ve gone through in the seven and half years of our history. These are shows you won’t want to miss.”
