The Dillinger Escape Plan on the road

The Dillinger Escape Plan are hitting the road this week for a couple weeks in the US before heading to Europe for a festival run in July. Check last week’s newsletter for all festival dates!
The band started the year by cramming a ton of people into a small venue for an intense, if not violently energetic, random show experience. Back in February, The Dillinger Escape Plan did a quick run of sold-out club shows (and one in a basement) in the North-Eastern U.S.
For US fans who didn’t get to experience the madness earlier this year, this weekend you can see the band with 80,000 other of your closest friends at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, USA. The guys will be sharing the stage with bands ranging from Nine Inch Nails to Snoop Dogg to Bruce Springsteen for one of the most interesting line-ups ever!

Seasons Of Mist announced today: “It has been killing us not to reveal anything sooner, but we can now announce it: the whole Season of Mist staff is really proud and happy to welcome The Dillinger Escape Plan to the roster! It is an honour for the label to have such an originally talented band on board. DEP’s fourth studio album – whose title will be revealed in a few weeks – is due early 2010.”
